Today, in my portuguese class, my teacher said something obviously:
While we're discussing about something, it's because we master the subject.
And I just missed writing here. In my way out of school, we're discussing about bands who change their music genre (some change quickly, others so slowly that
only fans can percept it immediatly).
I recent read some interviews about McFLY saying that the new album will have influences of MJ and Prince. What makes me deduce that they'll be more powerpop, and they'll use synthesizers. I love this kinda music. Cobra Starship and MJ rules. But, McFLY turned my favorite band because they had a sound that I had never heard before, all old classics mixed up, with a fucking nice solos, perfect harmony and two different voices that complete each other. First time I heard a mcfly song, I used to listen bands like Simple Plan, Sugarcult, The Academy is, Cobra Starship... And was SO DIFFERENT to my ears, and so unseen that I fell in love. Now, I'm afraid that mcfly became something close that I always used to listen. I'm afraid that the fire, become a spark. They have to keep burning the hearts, and the ears of everyone they find on their ways, and they can get it, if them keep in this way. I'm not saying the new songs will be crap, no way! I'm just saying that
I think they can get more with songs kind of Room On The 3rd Floor. If I could, I would say all this to Tom, but I can't so I wrote in english, in case he google it. haha
